Palm & Stone Landscaping LLC is a growing Nevada landscaping company serving residential and commercial customers. We provide landscape maintenance, cleanup, irrigation, landscape installation, and landscape construction services.
We are looking for an experienced landscaping professional to join our growing company as our C-10 Qualifying Employee / Landscape Operations Manager.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will help lead Palm & Stone's field operations and serve as our Nevada C-10 qualifying employee.
This is a hands-on management position. We are looking for someone with real-world landscape construction experience who can supervise crews, oversee projects, coordinate subcontractors, manage materials and equipment, and help ensure our work is performed properly and safely.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Palm & Stone Landscaping LLC's C-10 qualifying employee
- Supervise landscape construction and installation projects
- Manage and train field crews
- Oversee irrigation, planting, sod, rock, grading, drainage, and other landscape work
- Coordinate materials, equipment, deliveries, and subcontractors
- Inspect completed work for quality
- Assist with estimating and project planning
- Communicate with customers regarding field operations
- Help resolve job-site issues
- Supervise day-to-day field operations
- Help establish and improve company procedures as Palm & Stone grows
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of qualifying landscape-construction experience, unless an applicable Nevada qualification alternative applies
- Experience supervising landscape crews, projects, or construction work
- Strong knowledge of landscape installation and construction
- Knowledge of irrigation, planting, sod, rock, grading, drainage, and related landscape work
- Ability to supervise employees and subcontractors
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors and supervise field operations
- Ability to meet Nevada State Contractors Board requirements for a qualifying employee
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing Nevada C-10 qualification
- Previous experience as a Nevada C-10 qualifying employee
- Landscape construction foreman or superintendent experience
- Experience estimating landscape construction projects
- Experience managing crews and subcontractors
- Knowledge of Nevada landscaping practices and requirements
