Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
Plan and develop menus that reflect culinary trends and meet dietary requirements
Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste through effective stock management
Implement and uphold food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of quality food in large-scale settings
Monitor food service operations, including shift management, to optimize workflow and guest satisfaction
Train team members in food handling, cooking techniques, and customer service best practices

Requirements

Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills and creativity
Supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality setting
Extensive knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitizing procedures
Background in food production, menu planning, and catering services
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Experience with inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management software
Familiarity with dietary department standards and food handling regulations
Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience is highly desirable
Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
