Nevada County District Attorney's Office is seeking an Administrative Analyst I that will serve as the Family Justice Center Navigator to join the launch of the Nevada County Family Justice Center (FJC)—an innovative, survivor-centered program that brings multiple agencies together under one roof to provide coordinated, trauma-informed services for individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, stalking, and other forms of interpersonal violence.
As a FJC Navigator, you will be one of the first people survivors meet when they enter the Center. You will provide compassionate support, help individuals understand their options, connect them with critical services, and walk alongside them as they navigate complex legal, medical, housing, and social service systems. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and committed to serving survivors with dignity and respect.
This is a part-time (0.5 FTE), limited-term, grant-funded position.
Primary Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for clients, conducting trauma-informed intakes, needs assessments, crisis intervention, emotional support, and safety planning.

Connect clients with internal and community resources, including legal, medical, housing, counseling, victim compensation, and other supportive services.

Assist clients with applications, documentation, and referrals, ensuring they understand their rights, options, and available resources.

Advocate for clients within program guidelines to facilitate timely access to services and support.

Maintain accurate, confidential case records, reports, and program data in accordance with agency standards.

Prepare client and program materials, coordinate appointments and follow-up services, and support program reporting and evaluation.

Participate in community outreach, professional development, and, as assigned, assist with training staff, interns, and volunteers.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

Knowledge of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, child abuse, elder abuse, and trauma-informed, survivor-centered services.

Understanding of the legal, healthcare, behavioral health, and social service systems serving survivors.

Strong communication, interpersonal, crisis intervention, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to build trust, maintain professional boundaries, and work effectively with individuals experiencing crisis.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate, confidential records.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team while exercising sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, economics or a related field from an accredited college or university, and one year of experience in administrative, budget or personnel analysis, preferably in a public agency. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis to a maximum of two years.
Licenses and Certifications

Possession of a valid driver's license within 30 days of hire. A valid Class C driver's license must be maintained throughout employment in this class to perform the essential functions of the position.

Completion of California's 40-hour Victim Advocate Training (or the ability to successfully complete the training within twelve (12) months of hire) and obtain the required victim advocate certification.
