Summary
GVTC is hiring its first Marketing Technologist, a builder's role at the center of how a fast-growing fiber business uses technology to acquire, retain, and grow its customers. You'll be the builder and super-user of our marketing technology stack: HubSpot, the Calix Engagement Cloud, Google Analytics 4, and the integrations that connect them to our data warehouse. You'll own platform configuration, attribution infrastructure, automation workflows, and the data hygiene that makes everything else work. As Marketing Technologist, this individual serves as the builder and super-user of GVTC's marketing-technology stack. The role owns day-to-day administration of the HubSpot platform and its integration with the GVTC data warehouse, as well as platform configuration and persona-schema ownership for the Calix Engagement Cloud. The role implements Google Analytics 4 measurement, attribution tracking, and conversion infrastructure across GVTC's acquisition properties; configures A/B tests in supported platforms; and maintains data integrations, naming conventions, and platform documentation that keep the function operating cleanly. The Marketing Technologist partners closely with the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist across HubSpot and Calix Engagement Cloud on both acquisition and lifecycle workflow execution, and with the Web Content & Operations Specialist on tracking and form measurement. This is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Administer the HubSpot platform, including user provisioning, property and field
management, list architecture, workflow configuration, and reporting infrastructure inside the
platform.
· Maintain the integration between HubSpot and the GVTC data warehouse; troubleshoot
data flow, schema, and reconciliation issues.
· Maintain HubSpot lifecycle-stage configuration per definitions provided by the Growth,
· Performance & Analytics Manager.
· Conduct routine data-hygiene audits and remediation across HubSpot CRM, lists, and
contact records.
· Build and maintain workflows in both HubSpot and the Calix Engagement Cloud supporting
acquisition and lifecycle campaigns; provide platform expertise to the Lifecycle Marketing
· Specialist on workflow-execution requirements across both platforms.
· Implement and enforce UTM governance, campaign taxonomy, and naming standards per
the standards defined by the Growth, Performance & Analytics Manager.
· Configure the Calix Engagement Cloud platform, including persona schemas, audience
definitions, and channel integrations.
· Maintain persona-schema documentation, audience-definition logic, and version history for
the Calix Engagement Cloud.
· Implement and maintain Google Analytics 4 across GVTC.com and acquisition landing
experiences, including event taxonomy, conversion definitions, custom dimensions, and
audience exports.
· Implement and maintain attribution tracking in supported platforms per attribution
methodology defined by acquisition leadership.
· Configure conversion tracking for paid-media campaigns, including offline conversion import
from CRM data back into ad platforms.
· Configure A/B tests in supported platforms based on test plans developed by the acquisition
team.
· Document test configurations, outcomes, and learnings in the shared knowledge base.
· Maintain documentation for platform configurations, data flows, and integration architecture
across the marketing-technology stack.
· Manage form-tracking implementation across acquisition landing pages, embedded
HubSpot forms, and any third-party form surfaces.
· Support QA protocols for all marketing-technology system changes, ensuring accurate data
capture, tagging, and end-to-end functionality.
· Monitor integrations between HubSpot, the Calix Engagement Cloud, the data warehouse,
and ad platforms to ensure data flows accurately and on schedule.
· Identify and resolve issues affecting lead delivery, including form failures, integration
outages, duplicate records, and data-sync delays.
· Maintain compliance with privacy regulations regarding data capture, consent tracking, and
PII handling within the marketing-technology stack.
· Evaluate and recommend new marketing-technology and analytics tools as the function's
needs evolve.
· Partner with the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist on technical configuration and workflow execution
requirements across HubSpot and the Calix Engagement Cloud, supporting both acquisition and lifecycle objectives.
· Partner with the Web Content & Operations Specialist on tracking implementation across
web properties.
· Support the Growth, Performance & Analytics Manager in budget planning for marketing technology
platforms, tools, and vendor relationships.

Education/Experience
· Position requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
· Three to five years of experience in marketing technology administration, marketing operations, or a closely related technical marketing role.
· Demonstrated experience administering the HubSpot platform or an equivalent marketing- automation and customer-relationship-management platform.
· Demonstrated experience with Google Analytics 4 implementation, including event configuration, conversion tracking, and audience definitions.
· Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated comfort working across platform configurations, integrations, and tag implementations.
· Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple platforms and stakeholders concurrently.
· Excellent time-management skills; ability to balance scheduled platform maintenance with implementation requests.
· A self-starter with a get-the-job-done attitude.

Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in cable, telephony, or broadband marketing-technology environments.
· Familiarity with SQL or relational data warehouses; the data-integration tasks in this role can be performed with AI-assisted query tools where SQL is needed.
· Prior hands-on experience with the Calix Engagement Cloud or another customer-data or campaign-orchestration platform; on-the-job training is provided.
Language Ability
Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions and technical documentation, and to communicate platform behavior, configuration choices, and data flows clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to diagnose platform and integration issues, identify root causes, and translate non- technical business requests into supported platform configurations.
Technical Skills
· HubSpot platform administration (or equivalent customer-relationship-management or marketing-automation platform).
· Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google Ads configuration.
· Comfort with database-query tasks using AI-assisted tools, basic SQL fundamentals, or equivalent.
· Data-visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent, at the implementation and dashboard-build level.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Familiarity with A/B testing tools at the configuration level.
· Familiarity with attribution platforms and conversion-tracking methodology at the implementation level.
· Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sufficient for marketing-technology tag implementations and template customization.
· Working knowledge of consent-management platforms and privacy-compliant tag firing.
