Now Hiring: Youth Basketball Instructors
New Braunfels Area
Do you love basketball? Do you enjoy working with kids? Are you looking for a fun, rewarding part-time job that makes a difference?
TX Youth Sports is hiring dependable Basketball Instructors to teach after school programs at elementary schools in the New Braunfels area.
Our instructors do more than teach basketball. They help children build confidence, teamwork, respect, and a love for being active.
What You Will Do
- Lead fun, organized basketball classes for elementary-aged students.
- Teach basketball fundamentals in a positive and encouraging environment.
- Help children develop confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect.
- Be a positive role model that students can count on every week.
Availability and Commitment
Our school schedules are still being finalized. Applicants should tell us which days of the week they are able to work.
All instructors must be able to arrive at their assigned school no later than 2:40 PM. This requirement is non-negotiable.
Our programs run in 5, 6, 8 or 10 week sessions. Students depend on seeing the same instructor every week, just as they depend on their classroom teacher.
Please apply only if you can make this commitment. If you know you will need to miss classes because of another job, college classes, vacations, travel, appointments, or other obligations, this position is NOT a good fit.
Qualifications
- Must live in or near the New Braunfels area.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a working cell phone.
- Must be able to arrive at school by 2:40 PM every scheduled workday.
- Must enjoy working with elementary-aged children.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and communicate professionally.
- Must successfully pass a fingerprint background check.
