As a specialist for P&S Contractors, you will be trained across our full service line. Our work is diverse: one day you may be prepping a warehouse floor, and the next you may be performing high-end commercial painting or line striping. We are looking for a versatile team member who is ready to grow with us.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay: $22 - $30 per hour (starting rate is based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Install resinous flooring systems including epoxy, Polyaspartic, MMA, polyurethane, mortar, and cementitious urethane.
- Material Handling: Mix, pour, and apply coating materials according to specific project requirements and manufacturer specifications.
- Equipment Operation: Operate, maintain, and potentially transport specialized power tools and machinery, including floor grinders, shot blasters, high-speed mixers, and industrial vacuums.
- Detail Work: Execute integrated cove base installation, surface preparation, and precision trowel work.
- Versatility: Support painting, line striping, and other projects as needed.
- Safety: Operate specialized tools and heavy machinery safely while following all OSHA and company standards.
- Availability: Work flexible hours, including occasional nights, early mornings, or weekends based on specific project schedules.
- Professionalism: Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, and high-quality workmanship while representing P&S Contractors on client sites.
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
- Age & Documentation: Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation to reach various jobsites.
- Schedule: Willingness to work nights, early mornings, or weekends as the project workload requires.
- Travel & Commute: Ability to perform regional travel to various jobsites. While the vast majority of our projects are located within Connecticut, this position requires the flexibility for travel throughout the Northeast (NY, NJ, and New England) with occasional overnights for distant projects as needed.
- Safety & Conduct: Ability to follow strict safety procedures and maintain a 100% unimpaired "Fit for Duty" status at all times.
- Physical Capability: Ability to spend extended periods (multiple hours) kneeling, crouching, or crawling for flooring and cove installation.
- Overhead & Heights: Ability to perform overhead work and reaching for painting and wall coatings, as well as the comfort and ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts as needed.
- Lifting & Labor: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor throughout a shift.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to safely operate and handle heavy power equipment and hand tools. Must be able to follow strict manufacturer safety guidelines and represent the company professionally while operating company vehicles or machinery.
- Environmental Flexibility: Willingness to work in varied temperatures, including climate-controlled facilities, refrigerated units/freezers, and warm industrial plants.
- Chemical Tolerance: Comfortable working daily with and around resinous chemicals (Epoxies, MMA, etc.) which produce odors and are potential respiratory and skin sensitizers.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with concrete coatings, epoxy flooring, or resinous flooring systems
- Experience with either painting, cement work, troweling, or mixed/poured materials
- Knowledge of any MMA, polyurethane, Polyaspartic, or cementitious urethane products
- OSHA-10 training (preferred but not required)
- Prior construction or skilled trades experience
