Looking for a prep cook and pizza maker with experience working in a fast paced kitchen who can be detail oriented in prep and menu execution as well as delivering on time. Kitchen and food prep experience required and training available when it comes to pizza specific aspects (very interested if you have past dough and pizza making experience!). Also ready to be flexible and pitch in as needed whether it's delivering food orders, answering a phone, helping with dishes, doing deep cleaning as well as serving alcohol. Qualifications:
In addition to preparing food ordered during service hours for customers and ensuring the highest quality is delivered, this role's responsibility will be to also set up, tear down and cleaning of prep stations, the kitchen and dishes + stock/ prep food to the Chef’s specifications for menu execution.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
- Opening/ closing the setup or shutdown of food make lines including food storage and cleaning
- Completes the list of tasks associated with the shift worked (stock/ restock; clean; prepare packaging)
- Prep dough and other ingredients for service; Work your assigned station with accuracy, efficiency and speed
- Organize walk in and rotate products as needed
- Make note of / communicate needed items every day
- Keep station clean throughout shift and do deep cleans weekly
- Follow all applicable health and sanitation procedures/ adhere to all safe work practices
- Effectively communicate with Team Members and Store Leadership
- Model and provide exceptional Customer Service as needed
- Receive and put away orders; communicate invoices to bookkeeping eg. shortages/incorrect
- Conduct weekly/ daily deep clean tasks; Complete list of tasks associated with the shift
- Conduct daily/ weekly inventory and ordering, plus report lows, highs and out of stocks to kitchen and market manager to help maintain inventory
- Ensure staff compliance of all relevant Emma Hearth & Market policies and standards
- Provide feedback to management and do a yearly performance review
- Effectively communicate with Customers, Team Members and Store Leadership.
SCHEDULE/HOURS:
Part time 20-25 hours per week or Full-time 35-40 hrs per week - pay can be hourly or salary. Shifts available Wednesday-Sunday 11am-10pm. For full time, salary options are possible eg. health benefits, paid time off and 401K are available. This position DOES require weekend and holiday availability. We also offer other benefits like free weekly pizza, and market/ menu discounts.
COMPENSATION EXAMPLES:
Specific offer to be updated commensurate with past experience, education and role/ level.
HOURLY - Base rate w/ experience - Hourly rate of $19-31 per hour ($12-$18 per hour dependent upon experience and trained ability + pooled tips ranging from $7-13 per hour - seasonal dependent).
Note that we do conduct a training/ trial period of 2-4 weeks and base rate wage during this time. We also offer raises ongoing based on skill building and/or taking on more management responsibility.
