Full Job Description

Mechanical Test Technician needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Newark, DE.

The Big Picture – Top Skills Should You Possess:

Experience in a lab environment with mechanical testing equipment such as Instron, Falex Equipment, Microscopes / Keyence, Lab Balances, Mechanical press, Ovens, 3D Printers, etc.
Proven experience in working in a lab environment and safety culture
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PP, Microsoft Work, and Sharepoint)
Paying $22 - $25 per hour; depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

Conduct application specific, mechanical, thermal, and friction & wear tests
Collect, analyze and report data and store per internal guidance
Adhere to Test Methods and Industry test standards
Support R&D on material development testing

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

Experience in a lab environment with mechanical testing equipment such as Instron, Falex Equipment, Microscopes / Keyence, Lab Balances, Mechanical press, Ovens, 3D Printers, etc.
Proven experience in working in a lab environment and safety culture
