About the AeroShield Alliance

AeroShield Alliance is a fast-moving, mission-driven technology startup and alliance of small, specialized businesses. These firms and their collaborators include woman-owned, tribal and veteran-led firms that deliver integrated solutions for infrastructure resilience, disaster preparedness, emergency response and national security. We combine artificial intelligence, computer vision, atmospheric analytics, remote sensing and workforce deployment into practical solutions. The Alliance supports customers across public sector agencies and commercial organizations to enable better decisions, expedited responses and reduced costs.

Unlike traditional consulting firms or software companies, we assemble the right mix of technology, products and subject matter experts to solve complex challenges. We're an early-stage company with ambitious growth plans, and we're looking for people who are excited to help build something meaningful from the ground up. While our operational HQ is in Canton, MS, our leadership team is spread across Boston, Washington D.C., New Hampshire and Mississippi.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional entry-level business development role. You’ll report directly to—and serve as the right hand of—our Executive Chairman, a serial founder who has built and scaled multiple data, analytics and risk-intelligence companies. You’ll partner with him on the company's highest-priority business initiatives, gaining exposure to nearly every aspect of building and growing a technology company in a customer-facing capacity. In practice, this is a paid apprenticeship: you’ll receive direct coaching and mentorship, and be exposed to problems, people and decisions that very few entry-level roles provide.

We are looking for a high-energy, ambitious Associate to support every stage of business development: identifying new opportunities, preparing executives for customer meetings, supporting proposal development, maintaining our business development pipeline, coordinating meeting and conference logistics, and ensuring important details needed to follow through on opportunities never fall through the cracks. You will also spend time analyzing how to deploy and enhance our technology to solve complex problems for government and commercial clients.

This role is ideal for someone who is intellectually curious, financially motivated and energized by work variety. If you want to learn quickly, take on real responsibility and work alongside experienced entrepreneurs, you'll find few opportunities of this sort.

Note: We have a strong preference for candidates with easy access to southwestern New Hampshire or Washington, DC, for regular in-person collaboration with company executives and collaborators.

Key Responsibilities

Research & pipeline: Identify federal and commercial opportunities using AI and traditional research; conduct customer, competitor and market analysis; and maintain the CRM and business development pipeline.

Proposals & materials: Prepare presentations, capability statements and briefing books, and support proposal development and submission from first draft through delivery.

Meetings & logistics: Coordinate meetings, travel and conference logistics; prepare agendas and meeting notes; and track action items so nothing falls through the cracks.

Strategy & impact: Help shape and present business strategies to internal stakeholders, and work with executives to keep business development spend aligned with profitability goals—pitching in wherever needed to help the company succeed.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor's degree in business, physical or data sciences, public policy or a related field (or 1-2 years relevant experience) with a genuine interest in mission-driven, AI-focused technology and science.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
