Duties

Lead the kitchen team by providing clear direction, mentorship, and supervision to ensure high performance and morale.
Oversee all aspects of food production, from menu planning to execution, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.
Manage inventory control and food safety protocols to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision to meet client expectations.
Supervise food handling, preparation, and presentation processes to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while accommodating dietary restrictions and guest preferences.
Oversee shift management, scheduling staff efficiently to meet operational demands during peak hours.
Monitor kitchen operations for efficiency, productivity, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless food service delivery in a hospitality-focused environment.
Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager within a high-volume restaurant or catering operation.
Extensive culinary background with fine dining experience preferred.
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing diverse kitchen teams effectively.
Strong background in food production, menu planning, and food service management.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and inventory control procedures.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations across the food industry.
Experience overseeing banquet services, dietary departments or large-scale catering is highly desirable.
Ability to lead with confidence in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
