Job Description – Intern (Degrader Antibody Conjugates)

Theradax is a New Haven, CT based biotechnology company focused on the development of antibody conjugates bearing novel degrader payloads to address clinical unmet need across multiple disease indications. Quarry Thera was co-founded by Yale Professor Craig Crews and ex-Pfizer leader Mikael Dolsten and has a leadership team with deep expertise in induced proximity drugs, antibody drug conjugates, platform innovation, and company building.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and independent intern to join our Degrader Antibody Conjugate team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of novel therapies that harness the targeting precision of antibodies to deliver protein degrader payloads for cancer treatment. The intern will help deliver decision making data, present findings to the leadership team, and make a meaningful impact on the company’s portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in using a variety of cell-based assays.
This is a 6-month intern position with potential for extension, reporting to the Senior Director, Degrader Antibody Conjugates. This will be an in-person role located in New Haven, CT.
Principal Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
· Design and implement experiments to characterize Degrader Antibody Conjugates and degrader payloads using a wide variety of cell-based assays such as cellular cytotoxicity, internalization, western blotting, qPCR, ELISAs and flow cytometry.
· Engineer cell lines using techniques such as transfection, viral transduction, and CRISPR.
· Analyze, QC, and organize experimental data and communicate results to leadership to enable decision making.
· Based on findings, propose new experiments to advance programs.
· Efficiently maintain accurate records in electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) and internal databases.
Qualifications
- BS or MS with 2+ years of experience or recent PhD graduate.
- Highly skilled in mammalian cell culture with hands-on experience in various cellular and molecular biology techniques.
- Previous design and experimental experience in cell line engineering is a plus.
- Ability to independently design and execute well-controlled, high-quality experiments, pay strong attention to details in experiments, interpret and summarize the results, and effectively communicate the results.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- This role is primarily laboratory-based, so being on-site full-time is required.
