Full Job Description

Elderly Housing Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee Steven’s Woods, a 59-unit affordable housing community in North Haven.

A Property Manager Will:

Oversee the daily operation, administration, and physical condition of the property.
Manage budgets, financial reports, leasing, waiting lists, recertifications, unit turnover, and resident files.
Maintain compliance with affordable housing, fair housing, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct property and apartment inspections and coordinate maintenance needs.
Supervise site employees and work with vendors, residents, leadership, and the property’s Board of Directors.
Support positive resident relations while enforcing leases and EHM policies.

A Property Manager Should Have:

At least five years of property management experience.
At least two years of supervisory experience.
Affordable, subsidized, senior, or multifamily housing experience preferred.
Strong financial, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and property-management software.
Relevant housing certifications preferred.
A valid Connecticut driver’s license.
