Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our dynamic team, committed to empowering individuals and families through comprehensive social services. In this vital role, you will provide support, advocacy, and intervention for diverse populations, including children, families, and high-risk groups. Your expertise will help foster positive change, promote well-being, and ensure safety within our community. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs, strengths, and challenges to develop personalized care plans
Provide crisis intervention and crisis management support to individuals experiencing urgent or high-risk situations
Assist clients with navigating child protective services, child welfare, and family support programs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate social services and ensure holistic client care
Offer counseling and emotional support to children, families, and individuals with disabilities
Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress notes using Microsoft Office tools
Facilitate communication with clients in bilingual settings or those from culturally diverse communities
Implement conflict management strategies to resolve disputes within families or high-stress environments
Deliver first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure immediate safety during emergencies
Support high-risk populations through specialized social work techniques tailored to their unique needs

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children, families, or high-risk populations in social work or related fields
Knowledge of child protective services, child welfare, and child & family services protocols
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—and excellent client communication abilities
Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and individuals with disabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes
Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a broader community base effectively
Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in crisis intervention or conflict management are a plus
Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion
