About Madison Medical

Madison Medical Sports & Wellness is a New Jersey State-licensed, multi-specialty ambulatory care facility offering more than 15 integrated service lines under one roof — including sports medicine, physical therapy, chiropractic, pain management, regenerative medicine, primary care, acupuncture, medical weight management, and our Athletic Recovery Center (ARC). For more than 25 years, we have served Madison and the surrounding communities as a trusted destination for whole-person care.

We are in an exciting expansion phase: new service lines, new providers, new facilities, and major investments in technology and infrastructure — including a next-generation electronic medical record platform launching this year. As we scale, we are just as deliberate about how we grow: our State licensure holds us to hospital-grade standards for safety, privacy, and clinical quality, and every new program is built on rigorous compliance, credentialed providers, and protected patient information. We grow so we can take better care of the patients, families, schools, and local organizations who count on us — from student-athletes and weekend warriors to teachers, first responders, and seniors.

About the Role

We're seeking a licensed LCSW or LPC to help us build our behavioral health service line from the ground up — not as a side offering, but as a core pillar of an integrated care model where physicians, therapists, and wellness providers treat the whole person together. You'll see patients 100% in person, on-site, working side by side with our medical team. Many of your patients will already be in our building for their physical health — which means warm handoffs, real collaboration, and the chance to reach people who might never have walked into a standalone therapy practice.

This is a rare opportunity to practice behavioral health the way it should work: embedded in medicine, supported by infrastructure, and backed by a practice with deep roots in its community.

What You'll Do

Provide individual therapy and counseling within an integrated medical office setting
Conduct 45-minute patient sessions
Coordinate care with physicians and wellness providers to support whole-person treatment plans
Maintain a full caseload seeing patients 5 days per week
Document sessions and maintain compliant, accurate clinical records
Communicate with referring providers to support coordinated care

Areas of Focus

Anxiety and depression
Life transitions — career changes, relationship shifts, aging, health diagnoses, weight loss, pre/post surgries, and other major life adjustments

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted license as an LCSW or LPC in New Jersey
Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience
Comfortable working within a medical/integrated care setting alongside physical health providers
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-based approach to care
Warm, non-clinical bedside manner that puts patients at ease
