About us

We are a well-established, continually growing Wealth Management Practice located in Paramus, New Jersey. Our team is small, fast paced, and professional, and we pride ourselves on providing our clients with an extraordinarily high level of service.

The position
Junior Financial Advisor

This position will report directly to the Senior Financial Advisor. This position requires the ability to work directly with clients to develop and manage financial plans. You must have prior experience working with clients independently. You will also work hand in hand with other office professionals to process the movement of funds and equities. This employee will assist in data gathering and compilation of financial documents, research and analysis of current and prospective investments, and preparation of sales packages. This position requires a consistent level of competence in following firm compliance procedures and file maintenance. This employee will be responsible for timely and effectively tracking the onboarding process for new clients, overseeing all client requests (including account maintenance, money movement and account inquiries) and communicating with clients.

About you

You are looking for an opportunity to learn and grow within a small financial planning practice. You are highly organized and meticulous, self-motivated and an excellent problem-solver. You have an ability to anticipate client needs. You enjoy maintaining a CRM thoroughly and accurately. You have a solid knowledge and understanding of brokerage functions. Your communication skills and work ethic are top notch. You have excellent computer skills and are adept at learning new software. You are comfortable working with clients directly and independently.

Required Qualifications

Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 exam with registration in good order
4+ years Microsoft Suite
5+ years Brokerage sales support experience
Working knowledge of eMoney
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Life and Health Insurance license
Experience working with clients directly

Desired Qualifications

FINRA Series 66 or equivalent
Client service focus with the ability to respond to requests in a timely manner
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Experience interacting directly with customers
Ability to provide administrative support, including responding to prospect/customer inquiries and requests for information
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge and understanding of administrative support: filing, faxing, copying, and data entry

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
