Full Job Description

Job Summary:

We are a busy Litho-laminated box manufacturer located in Paterson NJ. We are seeking an experienced First Pressman, for our KBA 164 7-color LED and conventional printing presses. Must be available to work on 2nd or 3rd shift. Unionized shop.

Essential Job Functions:

Lead the Second Pressman and Feeder Operator
Responsible for make ready and maintaining color consistency and registration for press runs
Meeting or exceeding daily production and quality levels.
Review job specifications on order bags to ensure accurate production specifications.
Ensure accurate production time recording on electronic data system.
Maintain a clean/safe work area and adhere to the company safety policy.
Inform management in a timely manner of mechanical and electrical problems
Ability to work overtime on short notice

Job Qualifications:

3 years minimum experience in 4-color process and other multi-color (high quality) printing preferably on a large format KBA press a plus but will train the right individual with printing experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Mechanical and problem-solving skills
