Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing vehicle title documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations. Your expertise will support the seamless transfer of vehicle ownership, contributing to efficient dealership operations and excellent customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills within a fast-paced environment that values precision, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Duties

Prepare, review, and process vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
Verify all paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Coordinate with sales teams, finance departments, and customers to facilitate smooth title transfers and registrations.
Maintain organized records of all title transactions using CRM software and other management systems.
Ensure timely submission of documents to relevant authorities to prevent delays or penalties.
Manage customer inquiries regarding title status, documentation requirements, and registration processes through professional communication channels.
Support management in implementing process improvements for title processing workflows to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience managing vehicle titles, registrations, or related documentation within a dealership or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of state-specific title laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in CRM systems, sales management systems, and other relevant technology tools such as Salesforce or equivalent software.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks accurately under tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration across departments.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment that involves remote or in-person customer service interactions.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate solutions for complex documentation issues while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Familiarity with B2B processes related to automotive sales, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
