Job Description: Facilitator ($200 per class)

Program: Caregiver Stress Busting Program Reports To: Master Trainer / Program Director Location: Camden & Gloucester Counties

Position Summary

The Facilitator is responsible for delivering the Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers in accordance with the approved evidence-based curriculum and grant requirements. This role provides structured education, stress-reduction techniques, and resource navigation to caregivers of persons living with dementia (PLWD). Facilitators ensure high-quality program delivery, participant engagement, and compliance with all reporting and fidelity standards.

Key Responsibilities

Program Delivery

· Conduct caregiver support and educational sessions according to established curriculum guidelines.

· Facilitate group-based sessions for caregivers and/or PLWD.

· Co-facilitate classes with at least one additional trained Facilitator as required.

· Maintain a safe, supportive, culturally responsive, and confidential learning environment.

· Deliver classes in-person, including sessions outside regular business hours as required.

Participant Engagement

· Maintain regular communication with enrolled caregivers to encourage retention and completion.

· Promote peer support and connection among participants.

Documentation & Compliance

· Administer required pre- and post-tests and stress assessments.

· Submit assessment results within required timelines (within one business day of first and last class completion).

· Maintain accurate attendance logs and session notes.

· Submit weekly participant attendance data as required.

· Ensure all program delivery aligns with WellMed and DoAS requirements.

Resource Navigation

· Provide information about respite care, housing services, benefits counseling, behavioral health, and other supportive services.

· Connect participants to CPAC and community-based resources.

· Follow up on service linkage when appropriate to ensure continuity of care.

Crisis Identification & Escalation

· Identify caregiver burnout, safety concerns, or crisis situations.

· Escalate urgent concerns to the Master Trainer or appropriate service providers.

· Maintain compliance with mandated reporting requirements, if applicable.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, gerontology, counseling, public health, or related field preferred.

· Experience working with caregivers, older adults, or individuals living with dementia preferred.

· Strong group facilitation and communication skills.

· Ability to maintain accurate documentation and meet reporting deadlines.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Pay: $200.00 per day
