Schedule: 3x12, Days (7a-7p), Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Advance Your Clinical Practice in PACU
Our PACU team provides specialized care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and procedural interventions. Team members enjoy a collaborative environment where nurses work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to deliver exceptional patient care. We foster a culture of teamwork, professional growth, and patient-centered excellence.

How you’ll contribute

An RN PACU who excels in this role:

Assesses and monitors patients recovering from anesthesia and sedation
Recognizes and responds to changes in patient condition
Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols
Provides pain management and comfort measures
Documents patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure safe patient transitions throughout the perioperative continuum
Educates patients and families regarding postoperative care and discharge instructions
Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of every patient

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current New Mexico or Compact State RN license and possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
