Production Coordinator

Assists with the development of jewelry

and small to high volume production coordination

The Production Coordinator is the strategic and structural backbone of the production process. Working closely with the Operations team to receive goods, prep jewelry for production, manage samples, and ship goods. This is a dynamic, detail oriented, and fluid position with many responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the first and second sample process for new production items and coordinate with customers when applicable

Maintain physical reports of open orders and pre-picks for corporate accounts

Create and Manage the documentation of current on order items detailing shipping schedule, style number, image, book, quantities, delays, MU, sales price, manufacturer location/vendor

Allocate and prep jewelry components into “kits” for production + build assemblies in Quickbooks

Create and manage Item ID process through Quickbooks for components and finished goods

Maintain and coordinate record keeping for the production process through Quickbooks

Receive finished goods and componentry from domestic and overseas vendors

Assist with quality control and finished product prep work

Assist design department in the ordering process of new goods

Assisting with Jewelry pricing process by counting, documentation, price evaluation

Assessing and keep an eye on production inventory to let Operations manager know to purchase components

Maintain knowledge and kit for small production projects

Receive, and communicate with customers on repairs as well as documenting and invoicing

Coordinate with Artisans for orders and repairs

Establish key goals and reporting revenue/issues/etc from repairs from key insights by working with multiple departments and manufacturers

Key responsibilities and tasks are subject to change and/or additional responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving:

Receive and process goods and components

Assisting to ship orders for corporate accounts

Transfer Shipping information for corporate accounts into quickbooks

Corporate Sample Coordination:

Prep samples and print labels for corporate appointments

Create sample memos and ship samples for all major appointments

Check samples back in after appointments

Prepare samples for design meetings & customer requested redesigns

Maintain organized sample libraries for specific corporate accounts

Maintain accurate product data for corporate samples
