Full Job Description

Positions are available nationwide.

Modjeski and Masters (M&M) is rapidly expanding and looking for entry-level Structural Bridge Design Engineers with 0-4 years’ experience to support transportation project pursuits across the U.S. and abroad. As a Structural Bridge Design Engineer, you will work on a variety of challenging and rewarding bridge engineering projects for a myriad of transportation clients. As a member of our team, you'll be immediately responsible for performing engineering tasks under the careful supervision of established and respected professionals. You'll have opportunities to interact directly with clients, becoming a valued partner on a variety of high-impact projects, and apply fresh insights at every stage of a bridge's life cycle. Instead of following in the footsteps of others in the bridge services field, you'll be part of a team that is leading the way. Many of our projects result in new techniques and new standards for everyone else to follow.

Responsibilities:

Review and check standard structural design calculations.
Perform structural analysis and design of standard bridge components using analysis software.
Develop preliminary details using CAD software and provide information to CAD technicians for development of contract plans.
Provide information for design reports.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including field inspections and construction service assignments.
Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
Prepare project-related documents and internal correspondence.
Perform and check quantity take-offs from contract plans.
Review and check drawings.
Use engineering analysis software such as LUSAS, RISA-3D, LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, MicroStation, AutoCAD, etc.
Able to learn and correctly apply relevant design specifications, including: AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, ACI, etc.

Requirements

A minimum of a B.</ins>S.</ins> degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
E.I.T preferred but not required.

Salary Range:

Salary ranges are subject to change based on geographic location and total years of related experience.
For current open Entry Level Engineer, salary range in Colorado is between $69,000 and $80,000
