Leading Apparel & Fashion Accessories Manufacturer Seeking Experienced Sales Leader

An established apparel and accessories manufacturer is seeking a high-performing Senior Sales & Business Development Manager with proven experience in apparel, fashion accessories, wholesale sales, retail account management, and business development. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who has successfully sold to national retailers, department stores, specialty retailers, mass merchants, and regional retail chains.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding wholesale distribution, developing new retail partnerships, managing key accounts, increasing market share, and accelerating business growth within the apparel and fashion accessories industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business development strategies to grow wholesale revenue and expand distribution with national retailers, department stores, specialty stores, and major retail chains.
Identify, prospect, and secure new retail accounts, strategic partnerships, and wholesale opportunities to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Grow existing customer relationships by increasing product placement, expanding assortments, and improving year-over-year sales performance.
Lead seasonal sales presentations, product line reviews, pricing negotiations, and contract discussions with retail partners.
Partner with merchandising, product development, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches and on-time delivery.
Analyze sales performance, market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and account strategies that support executive decision making.
Represent the company at industry trade shows, customer meetings, and key retail events to strengthen brand visibility and generate new business.
Manage and grow key retail accounts while developing strategies to maximize sales, margins, and long-term customer retention.
Monitor industry trends, consumer demand, retail buying patterns, and competitive market activity to identify emerging sales opportunities.

Qualifications

3+ years of successful B2B sales, wholesale sales, account management, or business development experience within the apparel, fashion accessories, or related industries.
Demonstrated experience selling directly to major retailers, department stores, specialty retailers, or national retail chains.
Strong network of retail buying contacts within the apparel and accessories market.
Proven ability to negotiate high-value wholesale agreements and manage strategic retail accounts.
Experience with wholesale sales forecasting, account planning, and revenue growth strategies.
Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Self-motivated professional capable of managing multiple high-value accounts in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and business development opportunities.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas, revenue targets, and business growth objectives.
Experience managing retailer relationships, buyer meetings, wholesale programs, and large-volume retail accounts preferred
