Full Job Description

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll, verifying timesheets, and maintaining employee records. They ensure compliance with regulations, reconcile payroll accounts, and resolve discrepancies. The role also includes generating payroll and benefit reports, supporting audits, and addressing employee inquiries regarding pay and deductions. This is a part-time position.

Payroll Processing: Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees. Making adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses and commission

Timesheet Processing: Checking timesheets for accuracy, communication with managers and HR Director as needed

Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience:5 years' experience in payroll processing. Basic knowledge of bookkeeping.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, UnicornHRO) and Microsoft Excel. SAP proficiency is plus but not required
Attention to Detail:High level of precision in numerical data entry and auditing.
Knowledge:Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and benefits administration.

Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
