Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant Instructor

Join our dynamic educational team as a Medical Assistant Instructor and play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. In this rewarding paid position, you will inspire and prepare students through engaging, comprehensive instruction in medical assisting practices.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your clinical expertise, teaching abilities, and real-world experience to make a meaningful impact in healthcare education. As an instructor, you will be responsible for developing curriculum, delivering interactive classroom and laboratory instruction, and ensuring students acquire the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary for success in today’s healthcare environments.

<Responsibilities>

Deliver engaging lectures and practical demonstrations on medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, patient care, and clinical procedures.
Develop and update curriculum aligned with current industry standards, including topics such as clinical research, laboratory techniques, and hospital and critical care practices.
Supervise students during clinical simulations, laboratory exercises, and real-world training to ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
Utilize learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas to assign coursework, monitor progress, and review documentation.
Assess student performance through exams, practical evaluations, and documentation review to ensure mastery of course material.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives that incorporate emerging healthcare trends like public health or pediatrics.
Maintain detailed records of student attendance, progress, and competency assessments in compliance with accreditation standards.

<Experience>

Proven experience in clinical settings such as hospitals or medical clinics, including acute care or critical care environments.
Must posess at least 3 years of occupational expereince
Supervising experience in educational or healthcare environments is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, nursing practices, and patient care procedures.
Prior teaching experience with diverse student populations is preferred.
