Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pharmacist who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and medication management. In this vital role, you will ensure accurate medication dispensing. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and clinical excellence in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a dynamic healthcare environment that provides a life/work balance.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all legal and safety regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
Collaborate with physicians and medical teams on medication management plans, pain management strategies, and medical treatments.
Utilize pharmacy software and electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions, medication records, and treatment plans accurately.
Assist with pharmacy technician supervision, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to pharmacy protocols.

Qualifications

Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the state of New York.
Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
Experience with Micro Merchant pharmacy software systems and EMR/EHR platforms for documentation and medication tracking.
Excellent understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times.
Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for delivering outstanding patient care in diverse clinical settings.

Pay: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour
