TopView Sightseeing is a New York City-based company offering a variety of sightseeing tours by bus, bike, and boat. Our growing team of native local experts serves over 2500 customers daily, and visitors to the Big Apple can experience New York City with unforgettable views. As we are building our new brand, we are growing tremendously and we strive to enhance the customer experience across our network of brands. We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to help ensure we run safe and quality operations.

Job Duties:

Inspect the quality of the service performed by TopView and brands employees on all locations while remaining undercover.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of TopView and brands procedures and guidelines.

Value Safety as the highest priority and make sure to constantly be on the lookout for any unsafe conduct and report as such immediately.

Propose improvements to the head of the department.

Perform passengers counts on a weekly basis in different industries to keep management informed on the company’s position in the industry.

Inspect the competitor’s operations as needed and gather information in detailed reports.

Record inspection results by completing reports, summarize re-works and wastes, and input data into a quality database.

Inspector will collect information according to company policies and will report immediately any violations.

Inspecting all company employees from all departments under the directions of the operations department.

The job is 100% on the field.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Experience in supervising or monitoring is a big plus

Must have a smartphone and be familiarized with Google Apps

Must be able to record and collect information accurately

Must be presentable

Trustworthy

NYC tourism experience is a big plus

Outstanding communication skills

Positive attitude, personable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
