Full Job Description

Actively seeking a US Tax Consultant for a HYBRID, Contract (6-Month) Position. The position is a great fit for an experienced Partnership Accountant seeking a consulting role with a leading Global Law Firm.

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

SCHEDULE | LOCATION: HYBRID | Midtown East, Manhattan

HOURLY PAY: $45 - $60/HR (Based on Experience)

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED
CPA Certification is a PLUS, NOT REQUIRED
3-6+ Years of Industry Experience in either a Public Accounting Firm (Big 4/Comparable) or Law Firm is REQUIRED
Prior Experience handling/overseeing Partnership Accounting is REQUIRED
Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs, Formula Nesting) is REQUIRED
Well-spoken, Articulate, Strong Written/Verbal Communicator is a MUST

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Heavy review and auditing of Partner Spreadsheets
Review of K1s
Manage Equity Partner payment process
Maintenance of Paid in Capital, including: annual contributions, interest on capital, liquidations related to partner retirements and withdrawals, paid in capital modeling and projections.
Lead Partner mobility reporting, including headcount reporting.
Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and review of audit schedules
Collaborate with the Benefits team, HR team, and Chief of Staff to ensure partner profiles are accurately maintained
Manage special projects as required.
