Position: Arts & Project Management Fellowship
Term: 2026-2027
Role Overview:
This full-time, year-long fellowship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in line producing while working across multiple departments at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA). The Arts Fellow/Project Manager will play a vital role in both executing performances and supporting strategic partnerships. Reporting to the Director, Festival Programming, the fellow will join a dynamic team of accomplished Producers and take the lead on advancing and executing performances, ensuring all elements are in place to realize the artist’s vision. In addition, the Fellow will support the Director, Festival Programming in the planning and execution of the West Initiative and Summer for the City 2027, working closely with community and artistic partners to develop participatory projects and maintain strong, ongoing engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Line Producing

Support the Director, Festival Programming and other LCPA Curators in advancing and planning performances, projects, and events across Lincoln Center Venues.

Supports the Director, Festival Programming in the planning and execution of the West Initiative and Summer for the City 2027, including coordination with community and artistic partners, development of participatory projects, creation of marketing assets, management of contracting, and engagement of key stakeholders.

Main artist contact throughout the entire producing process including but not limited to contracts, budgets, marketing materials, collecting tech and hospitality riders.

Contribute to onsite management alongside Producers; create a positive experience for artists and serve as onsite representative to ensure all concerns are addressed swiftly.

Work closely with Event Production Managers running and advancing shows: securing all production elements such as backline, equipment rental, and managing day-of schedules.

In close collaboration with project managers and curators, manage project budgets : make decisions that have a direct impact on the production related to rentals, housing, hospitality, and transportation.

Record and uphold the terms of media agreements; works with Lincoln Center’s video team as needed.

Represents Lincoln Center onsite.
Administrative & Project Management:

Support the Programming team in special projects that require unique attention and expertise when it comes to partnerships and external collaborators.

Supports Director, Festival Programming and Producers in performances and special projects as assigned. Manage project timelines in collaboration with project leads to ensure successful on-time delivery of projects.

Keep track of the progress and process of the assigned projects; leading and maintaining internal departmental and external communication with different partners.

Organize and lead regular meetings to set and manage expectations and update project priorities, timelines, and goals. Communicate project status and success to Programming Team and partners.

Project manage complex and large-scale cross-team, cross-functional initiatives. Interface with managers and leaders to estimate work efforts, define milestones and manage resources

Maintain internal communications with Lincoln Center’s Departments including Performance and Campus Operations, Production, Legal, Marketing, Communication & Advocacy, and People Team, as well as LCPA resident organizations as applicable.

Together with the Programming team, support artistic and institutional relationships, building partnerships with Lincoln Center’s several departments, constituents, and artists.

Manages, maintains and update Monday.com, Arts Vision and SharePoint as needed.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years’ experience in related field.

2 -4 years of experience in the performing arts, ideally in event producing, general management, or production.

Ability to, and willingness to work evenings and weekends, and a robust schedule indoors and outdoors during summer months.
