Full Job Description

Job Summary

Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter Apprentice/Laborer, where you'll gain hands-on experience in a variety of carpentry and construction tasks. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in building, remodeling, and restoration projects under the guidance of experienced professionals. If you're eager to learn, hardworking, and passionate about construction, this role is perfect for you to kick-start your career in the industry!

Responsibilities

Assist with framing, drywall installation, and finishing work using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols.
Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution.
Perform demolition, site cleanup, and prepare materials for installation or fabrication processes.
Support with installation of fixtures, cabinetry, doors, siding, and other building components.
Handle heavy lifting and assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, and masonry tasks as needed.
Follow safety procedures related to power tool operation, scaffolding use, and construction site safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately while maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

Prior construction experience or related hands-on work in remodeling or restoration industries is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as CNC machines or metal stud framing is advantageous.
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely.
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
Commitment to safety practices including power tool safety and proper handling of materials like stucco, caulking, tile, flooring, and plastering materials.
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is a plus; must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
