Position Overview
We're seeking a Copper Fabricator Apprentice to join our manufacturing team.
This is a unique opportunity to learn a highly specialized manufacturing trade through hands-on training alongside experienced craftsmen. You'll fabricate custom copper tubing assemblies used in precision induction heating systems. No two projects are exactly alike, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and building custom equipment.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom copper tubing assemblies from mechanical drawings.
- Perform oxy/acetylene brazing.
- Learn specialized copper fabrication techniques.
- Assemble precision components.
- Follow strict quality control standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply:
- HVAC or refrigeration
- Welding or fabrication
- Industrial maintenance
- Mechanical assembly
- Automotive or diesel repair
- Military mechanical experience
- Blueprint reading
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings (preferred but not required).
- Previous fabrication, welding, HVAC, maintenance, automotive, or industrial experience is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
Compensation & Benefits
- $28.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience
