Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Neurologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of neurological conditions, ensuring patients receive expert care grounded in the latest medical practices. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through precise diagnosis, innovative treatment plans, and collaborative care. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and physical examinations to evaluate patient conditions
Diagnose neurological disorders such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and migraine headaches
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing medications, therapies, and interventional procedures like neuroimaging and electrophysiological testing
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals including radiologists, neurosurgeons, physiatrists, and primary care providers to coordinate patient care
Utilize advanced medical imaging techniques such as MRI, CT scans, and EEGs to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
Maintain detailed medical records in electronic health record (EHR) systems ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations

Requirements

Medical degree from an accredited institution with completion of a neurology residency program
Board certification or eligibility in neurology from an approved certifying body
Proven experience in clinical neurology with post-residency practice preferred
Proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic or EMR/EHR platforms for documentation and patient management
Strong knowledge of neurodiagnostic tools including medical imaging techniques like CT and MRI scans
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients
Ability to perform procedures such as lumbar punctures (spinal taps), nerve conduction studies, and botulinum toxin treatments when applicable
Commitment to ongoing professional development through research or clinical trials is a plus
Experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings within hospital or clinic environments
