ADOMO HEALTH
Clinical Ops Manager— RN required
50% Direct Patient Care 50% Clinical Operations Leadership
About Adomo Health
Adomo Health is building the last mile of human care delivery. We are an on-demand network of clinicians and mobile diagnostic and therapeutic resources that reaches patients wherever they are — in their homes, hotels, offices, and care facilities — when they need care most.
As AI automates the virtual layer of healthcare, Adomo fills the gap that no algorithm can: the moment care needs to leave the cloud and enter the room. We dispatch physicians, PAs, NPs, nurses, medical assistants and mobile diagnostics on demand, serving nearly 200 provider clients including Sollis Health, Atria Institute, Mount Sinai Hudson Yards, and Northwell Concierge.
We are a small, fast-moving team at an inflection point — revenue doubling annually, an AI platform in development, and a mission that genuinely matters. This role is central to our next chapter.
The Role
This is a rare and genuinely hybrid clinical leadership role. Half of your time will be spent doing what you trained to do — delivering high-quality, direct patient care in the on-demand, in-home setting. The other half will be spent building and leading the clinical infrastructure that makes Adomo's model scalable, safe, and exceptional.
This is not a desk job with occasional patient contact, nor a purely clinical role with administrative duties tacked on. It is a purpose-built dual role for a clinician who is equally energized by patient care and by building systems, leading people, and solving operational problems.
You will report directly to the CEO and Medical Director and will serve as the senior clinical voice within the organization — shaping protocols, mentoring providers, ensuring quality, and representing Adomo's standard of care across all service lines.
Direct Patient Care (50%)
- Deliver on-demand, in-home clinical care to patients across the New York metro area — including IV hydration, IV/IM/SQ Medication administration, wound care, simple procedures, blood draws
- Serve patients across a variety of settings including private residences, hotels, corporate offices, and assisted living facilities — consistent with Adomo's on-demand model
- Support Adomo's "ER in the home" use case: stabilizing and treating patients who would otherwise require emergency department visits
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in Adomo's care management system
- Help coordinate with patients' primary care physicians, specialists, and the Adomo care coordination team for follow-up and continuity of care
- Participate in on-call coverage rotation as needed consistent with service model requirements
Clinical Operations & Leadership (50%)
Provider Network Management
- Recruit, onboard, credential, and manage Adomo's growing network of contracted clinicians — PAs, NPs, nurses, and mobile diagnostic technicians
- Serve as primary point of contact for contracted provider questions, clinical guidance, and performance matters
- Develop and maintain provider onboarding protocols, training materials, and clinical orientation programs
- Monitor provider availability, scheduling, and deployment across the New York metro service area
Quality, Compliance & Clinical Protocols
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve clinical protocols, standing orders, and care pathways across all Adomo service lines
- Ensure ongoing compliance with New York State scope of practice regulations, collaborative practice requirements, and relevant federal and state healthcare regulations
- Maintain and update the clinical policy and procedure manual; ensure all providers operate within defined protocols
- Monitor patient satisfaction data and clinical outcomes; identify trends and implement improvements
Care Coordination Oversight & Dispatch
- Provide clinical oversight and escalation support for the care coordination team — serving as the senior clinical resource when coordinators need guidance on patient triage or provider dispatch decisions
- Collaborate on the development of Adomo's AI-enabled care routing platform — contributing clinical logic, triage criteria, and protocol input to technology development
- Review and improve intake and triage workflows to ensure the right provider is dispatched for the right clinical need
- Support after-hours clinical escalation coverage and provide decision support for complex or high-acuity cases
Strategic & Organizational Leadership
- Serve as a key member of Adomo's leadership team — contributing clinical perspective to strategic decisions, service line expansion, and new market entry
- Support business development by participating in provider partnership meetings, client presentations, and clinical advisory conversations
- Help design and launch new Adomo service lines — including employer benefits programs, pop-up clinic models, and expanded geographic coverage
- Contribute to grant applications, regulatory filings, and payer credentialing as needed
- Represent Adomo's clinical brand externally — at medical conferences, with provider partners, and in media or public-facing content as appropriate
Qualifications
Required
- Current, active RN license in New York State — in good standing with no restrictions
- 3+ years of clinical practice experience post-certification; prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine preferred
- Demonstrated experience or strong aptitude for operational, administrative, or leadership responsibilities
- Genuine comfort with and enthusiasm for mobile, field-based care — you do not need a facility to feel clinically effective
- Strong independent clinical judgment and the ability to triage and manage a wide range of acute and chronic presentations without on-site physician backup
- Excellent communication skills — with patients, families, collaborating physicians, and the broader care team
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent responsibilities in a fast-moving environment
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Valid New York driver's license and ability to travel throughout the New York metro area for patient care visits
Preferred
- Experience in home health, mobile medicine, concierge medicine, telemedicine, or on-demand care delivery
- Prior supervisory, clinical leadership, or practice management experience
- Familiarity with Athena EMR and digital health platforms
- Experience developing clinical protocols, standing orders, or quality improvement initiatives
- Interest in or exposure to health technology, AI-enabled care coordination, or digital health innovation
Why This Role Is Different
Most advanced practice roles ask you to choose: clinical depth or operational impact. This one is built around the idea that the best clinical leaders are the ones who never stop seeing patients — and the best patient care is delivered inside organizations that have excellent clinical systems behind them.
You will be doing meaningful clinical work every week — in patients' homes, in real clinical situations, with real stakes. And you will be building the infrastructure that allows Adomo to do that work at scale, with consistency, and with the quality our patients and partners expect.
