Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering has an opening for a dynamic Experienced Naval Architect/Engineer in our Construction Engineering Services (CES) Group, to support our fleet of over 55 large construction vessels. The ideal candidate will be a part of a growing team that supports all aspects of the construction process by performing innovative design engineering through brainstorming conceptual designs, performing and/or reviewing structural calculations, developing plans, scheduling tasks to meet client needs, as well as mitigating risk to keep our construction crews safe. Kiewit has the premier marine construction fleet in North America and intends to keep it that way through the modernization of our existing vessels, and construction of new vessels. This is an opportunity to be a major part of that effort, working directly with the construction teams.
Our Construction Engineering Services (CES) Group consists of innovative design engineers whose expertise in designing and building temporary structures adds value to the success of our clients’ projects. Additionally, CES provides on-site engineering and coordination support through leading and collaborating with Kiewit’s construction teams.
Our CES group supports design-build tasks that include: Bridge erection & demolition, Cofferdam design, Critical crane lifts, Erection sequencing & staged construction analysis, Hoisting and jacking, Deep foundations and dewatering, Excavation support, Marine engineering, Pile drive analysis, Ductwork analysis, Falsework design, Temporary bridge & trestle, mooring and berthing facility design, CES estimate support, Working surface design, marine fleet & equipment maintenance and modernization, and On-site engineering support.
