Christian Health offers NEW competitive for RN wages and a great environment for teamwork and development.

Competitive Enhanced Experienced RN Start Rates plus shift and weekend differentials.

Hourly Pay Rates:

RN Full time hourly rate:$40.00 - $48.00
12 hour Shift Differential RN 6:45pm-7:15am: $4.30
Full time weekend differential: $2.00

When determining a base salary or hourly rate, several factors may be considered as applicable such as years of relevant experience, education, credentials.

Sign on Bonus: Full-time Nurses are eligible for a sign on bonus of $5,000.

Full- time Schedule Available:

(3) 12 hour shifts 6:45am - 7:15pm (Days). Every other weekend required.
(3) 12 hour shifts 6:45pm - 7:15am (Nights). Every other weekend required.

About Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health (RRBH):

RRBH is a 58-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital licensed by the State of New Jersey and accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC).
Our behavioral hospital serves adults from 18 years of age through the senior years. RRBH includes a general adult psychiatric division treating adults of all ages with various mental health diagnosis such as depression, bipolar illness, anxiety, schizophrenia, OCD and others. Our geriatric division is a locked, safe and secure newly renovated wing that specializes in various forms of Dementia, Alzheimer’s and a host of additional mental health diagnosis. While we admit patients who are voluntary and involuntary, we are not licensed to admit patients who require Short Term Care Facility (STCF) beds. Generally, these patients require a more intensive and secure environment for safety.

About Haven:

Haven at Ramapo Ridge provides inpatient trauma-informed care and services in a safe and secure setting for women only. Located within Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health.
Haven is the first of its kind in Bergen County and the only inpatient women’s program in New Jersey. The program offers a wide range of trauma care support and services and patients receive personalized care plans that lay out a path to healing in a safe space separate from the hospital’s general population.
Received the “Clinical Excellence Award” from the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA) for our innovative Haven program, which recognizes caregivers who personify a top-notch commitment to care.

Job Summary:

As an RN working at RRBH and Haven, you are an integral member of our interdisciplinary team. While patients and families are at the center of care, our nurses lead the team in developing individualized treatment plans that meet the patient where they are and ensure the plan is designed to meet the patient’s goals. Our treatment team is truly multidisciplinary, and is comprised of patients, nurses, social workers, recreational activity therapists, psychiatric nursing assistants, dietitians and Pastoral Care Counselors. Our therapeutic milieu is comprised of daily therapeutic group offerings, medication therapies, individual therapy, psychoeducation groups, art and music therapy, movement groups and family support. Our RN or LPN also have the opportunity to act as nurse preceptors, charge nurses, and mentors for the many students who rotate through RRBH from various Universities.
