Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Swimming Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and a passion for providing exceptional service to our clients. As a Swimming Pool Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks. Including openings, closings, equipment installs along with general pool maintenance, cleaning and repairs.

Duties:

Pool openings including initial start up of all pool filter systems and equipment.
Perform regular pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections.
Utilize tools to repair and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters and salt generators.
Knowledge and experience with pool plumbing practices using PVC and fittings.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool systems and provide effective solutions.
Conduct thorough pool cleaning services including vacuuming, skimming, and brushing surfaces.
Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool.
Communicate with clients regarding maintenance schedules and any necessary repairs or recommendations.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks.
Perform comprehensive pool winterizing services, including blowing out water lines, adding winterizing chemicals, lowering water levels, removing and storing equipment (ladders, handrails, fittings), installing winter plugs and covers, and ensuring systems are properly shut down to prevent freeze damage.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand pool systems and equipment.
Proficient in equipment repair and maintenance practices related to pool care.
Experience in pool maintenance techniques including chemical treatment and cleaning methods.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the repair of pool equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills as a service technician to address client needs effectively.
Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a swimming pool technician and pool service .

Strong knowledge of swimming pool equipment, systems, and maintenance procedures.

Able to relay information and communicate efficiently with office staff and customers

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently or with a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments.
