Overview
Are you passionate about creating organized, harmonious spaces that enhance daily living? We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Professional Organizer to transform cluttered environments into functional, beautiful areas tailored to each client’s unique needs. In this role, you will empower clients by decluttering, optimizing space, and establishing sustainable organizational systems. If you thrive on helping others regain control of their environments and enjoy working in diverse settings, from residential homes to senior living communities and corporate offices, this is your chance to make a meaningful difference while showcasing your exceptional organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients one-on-one or as part of a small team to assess, declutter, sort, and organize physical spaces including homes, offices, closets, kitchens, garages, and storage areas
- Support clients with digital organization including file management, inbox/email organization, cloud storage structuring, and basic productivity system setup
- Develop and implement customized organizational systems according to our methodology, and tailored to each client's lifestyle, habits, and goals
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients before, during, and after sessions to ensure satisfaction and follow-through
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times. You will be working in personal and professional spaces.
- Document progress and provide clients with easy-to-follow maintenance plans
- Coordinate with our team lead on project scope, timelines, and priorities for larger engagements
- Represent the brand with professionalism, warmth, and care in every client interaction
Ideal Candidate
- Based in New York City or easily commutable to all five boroughs and surrounding areas
- Has hands-on experience with professional organizing, interior styling, estate management, or a related field
- Is spatially gifted. You naturally see how a space can function better and know how to make it happen
- Is tech-savvy and comfortable assisting clients with digital decluttering, folder systems, app-based productivity tools, and cloud organization
- Brings a warm, positive, can-do energy to every session. Clients are often overwhelmed or vulnerable when they reach out to our company, and your enthusiasm and encouragement are a genuine part of the service
- Is equally comfortable working solo with a client as you are collaborating with a small team on larger projects
- Understands that you are entering someone's personal or professional world. Discretion, empathy, and excellent judgment are non-negotiable
- Is physically capable of light lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods throughout a session
- Has strong communication skills and a calm, encouraging presence with clients who may feel overwhelmed
- Is reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of your work
