Full Job Description

Connell Foley LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join our White Collar Criminal Defense practice group out of our Hackensack office.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate the following:

Strong writing skills, specifically with motions
Willingness to do criminal work
Clinical work while in law school preferred
Prosecutorial or Public Defender experience preferred
Criminal clerkship preferred
Admitted in New Jersey and/or passed the bar exam

The ideal candidate should also have the following qualifications:

JD from an ABA accredited law school with excellent academic credentials;
Ability and desire to learn and embrace new skills and best practices as the position and substantive area evolves;
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team;
Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and oral and written communication skills (writing sample required);
Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and discretion.
