Payroll & Membership Billing Coordinator

Location: Hybrid / RemotePosition: Part-TimePay: $33 per hour

About the Role

East Coast Office is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll & Membership Billing Coordinator to support our growing wellness and community programs. ( Gsuite )

This hybrid role combines payroll, membership billing, payment processing, and basic financial administration. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, trustworthy, and comfortable working with different payment platforms and financial systems.

Responsibilities

Process payroll and ensure team members are paid accurately and on time.
Track hours, shifts, bonuses, commissions, and other approved payments.
Manage membership billing for yoga, wellness programs, retreats, events, and classes.
Process payments, refunds, credits, freezes, cancellations, and membership adjustments.
Work with payment platforms such as Cash App, Zelle, Stripe, Square, PayPal, Venmo, and other approved systems.
Reconcile payments, deposits, membership revenue, and payroll records.
Track transactions and assist with payments made in different currencies when applicable.
Enter financial information into spreadsheets, accounting systems, and other business platforms.
Review transactions for errors and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and financial records.
Support basic payroll and tax reporting requirements.
Work with the operations and leadership teams to improve payroll and billing processes.

Qualifications

Experience with payroll, bookkeeping, billing, accounting, or financial administration.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data.
Basic understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, and reconciliation.
Experience with payment platforms and digital financial systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential information.
Comfortable learning and using multiple software platforms.
Experience with wellness, fitness, yoga, hospitality, or membership-based businesses is a plus.
