Full Job Description

Roche Bobois, World Leader in the High-end furniture industry boasting 260+ showrooms in more than 60 countries, is looking for a dynamic full-time Sales Manager in our Short Hills (NJ) Showroom.

The Brand works closely with renowned Designers, Architects or Fashion houses such as Ora Ito, Marcel Wanders, Jean Paul Gaultier, Kenzo Takada or Missoni Home. Roche Bobois offers also one of the largest range of products in the high-end furniture market with the best of new technologies & materials together with fine craftsmanship from small European workshops.

The main responsibilities of a Sales Manager include (but are not limited to):

Sales:

To guarantee high-end customer service (in store, phone/email communications);
To meet personal sales goals
To ensure proper follow up with the clients;
To strictly implement our ‘8 signatures’ program;
To coordinate weekly meetings with the sales staff to review the performance (leads/ quotes, monthly sales objectives);
To organize regular products training (weekly/bi-weekly).
To assist sales associates with closing.

Business Development:

To develop the trade and contract business with professionals (Brokers, Hotels, Developers, Designer) in collaboration with the Commercial Director and the Business Development Manager;
To assist in the coordination of in-store events with the Marketing department;
To assist in the prospection of new advertisement options, media.

Merchandising:

To review sales statistics and recommend new store orders to the Commercial Director;
To ensure proper labeling and pricing of displayed products;
To promote the quick ship program;
To prioritize the liquidation of items with low turnaround, to be replaced by better seller items;
To supervise bi-yearly Inventory.

Administrative:

To track/check sales order, cancellation, store credits and opening of credit lines in accordance with efficient and lawful practices;
To guarantee the correct and accurate entry of orders in IT system (Ecolix);
To ensure the allocation of stock items in and out of the showroom;
To guarantee the supervision of all supplier orders, including order confirmations;
To follow customer service issues with the after sales department, upon internal process.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of direct management experience in a retail environment;
At least 5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably furniture industry;
Strong communication skills;
Customer service oriented;
Motivated to work in a sales environment;
Interested in the furniture business;
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent;
Interior Designer certification a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
