Join a Growing, Technology-Driven Accounting Firm

Getter Tax Service is seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team. We are a forward-thinking accounting and tax firm that combines personalized client service with modern technology and AI-driven solutions. If you're looking for a place where your expertise is valued, your ideas matter, and your work directly impacts clients, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual, partnerships, S-Corps, trust, and estate tax returns (will train on fields of weakness)
Communicate directly with clients regarding tax questions and planning opportunities
Research and resolve complex tax issues
Assist clients with tax notices and correspondence
Review financial information for accuracy and completeness
Identify tax-saving strategies and planning opportunities
Support and mentor junior staff as needed
Stay current on tax law changes and industry developments

Qualifications

3+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
Strong knowledge of federal and New York State tax law
Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong communication and client service skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills
EA, CPA, or CPA candidate preferred but not required
Experience with tax software and cloud-based technology
