Full Job Description

We are looking someone who has experience with a key responsibilities such as obtaining insurance approvals, entering billing information, and coordinating surgical schedules. Qualifications include experience in healthcare settings, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong communication skills.

Review clinical documentation and submit authorization requests.
Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance representatives to clarify coverage requirements.
Billing Charge Entry
Accurately enter billing information into the system.
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits to prevent claim denials.
Track authorization requests and resolve any issues or denials.
Surgery Scheduling
Coordinate surgical schedules, ensuring timely and efficient appointment management.
Manage patient communications regarding scheduling and financial obligations.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.
Experience
1-3 years of experience in prior authorization, medical billing, or healthcare scheduling.
Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes.
Skills
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency with electronic health records (EMR) and practice management software.
Ability to analyze patient and insurance information accurately.
