CPA firm is looking to hire a qualified tax preparer. We are looking for a candidate who desires to work in a company environment that encourages a work/life balance. Growing opportunity for a motivated individual as we are looking for a long-term relationship. Excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to rejoin the workforce.

Skills and abilities:

Good grasp of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation.
Effectively apply tax knowledge to individual tax returns, business tax returns and trust returns.
Proficient with LaCerte.
Great time management and motivational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as skilled in problem solving and organization.
Proficient with Intuit suite of products including Intuit Practice Management, Quickbooks and Intuit Payroll.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications:

CPA preferred with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in tax preparation in a public accounting firm
Strong tax background with both corporate and individual tax returns. Accounting College Degree
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
