Job Summary: All Seasons Tree Services is seeking a skilled, experienced, and safety-conscious Tree Climber to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a passion for landscape maintenance and professional tree care, along with experience in tree trimming, pruning, removals, and climbing techniques.
This position involves working at heights to maintain the health, safety, and appearance of trees on residential properties while following industry best practices and all company safety standards. We are looking for a motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and values teamwork and professionalism.
Experienced contract climbers are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and improve the appearance of trees.
- Safely perform tree removals using proper climbing and rigging techniques.
- Climb trees using ropes, saddles, harnesses, and industry-approved climbing equipment.
- Operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts safely to access high branches.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care and garden upkeep when needed.
- Assess tree health and recommend appropriate pruning, maintenance, or removal procedures.
- Utilize GIS technology for tree inventory mapping and landscape management.
- Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other tree care equipment safely.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Tie and utilize standard tree industry knots.
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Support and help train other crew members in safe tree climbing practices.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and company safety policies.
- Perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional tree climbing experience
- Valid driver's license (Required)
- CDL license (Preferred)
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in all weather conditions
- Drug-free workplace
- Experience operating bucket trucks and aerial lifts
- Knowledge of proper tree climbing knots and rigging techniques
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in professional tree climbing techniques
- Knowledge of tree species and proper pruning methods
- Experience with rigging systems and safe climbing practices
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance, lawn care, and gardening
- Ability to safely operate bucket trucks and aerial equipment
- Understanding of GIS technology for landscape and tree management
- Experience maintaining chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other tree care equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Compensation & Benefits

- 8-hour shifts
