Position Summary
E2E Mfg is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe/Mill-Turn Programmer / Machinist with strong Mastercam programming skills and the ability to program, set up, and support CNC Lathe/Mill-Turn work. Ability to program multi-axis, milling, and live tools.
This role is responsible for taking customer prints, CAD models, and job requirements and turning them into efficient, reliable CNC programs. The ideal candidate understands tight-tolerance machining, tooling strategy, workholding, setup sheets, first article support, and production efficiency.
This is a hands-on programming role that requires strong communication with setup machinists, operators, quality, and management to ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
· Program Haas CNC Lathes and an Okuma Mill-Turn using Mastercam, including turning, milling, multi-axis, and live tools.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, CAD models, specifications, and customer requirements.
· Develop efficient machining strategies for prototype and production parts.
· Create, verify, and post CNC programs for multi-axis equipment.
· Select cutting tools, holders, speeds, feeds, and machining methods appropriate for the material and tolerance requirements.
· Design or recommend workholding, fixtures, soft jaws, and setup methods.
· Generate clear setup sheets, tool lists, and operator instructions.
· Support first article runs, prove-outs, and troubleshooting at the machine.
· Work with machinists and operators to improve cycle times, tool life, quality, and repeatability.
· Make program revisions based on quality feedback, inspection results, and production needs.
· Maintain organized program files, revisions, setup documentation, and tooling information.
· Collaborate with Quality to ensure parts meet print, GD&T, and customer requirements.
· Assist with quoting support by providing machining strategy, estimated cycle times, tooling needs, and setup considerations when needed.
· Follow company safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years of CNC Lathe/Mill-Turn experience, including setup and programming.
· Strong experience programming in Mastercam.
· Ability to program complex Multi-axis, Turning, and Milling work and Live tools.
· Strong understanding of CNC turning and milling processes, tooling, feeds and speeds, workholding, and setup methods.
· Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and CAD models.
· Experience machining tight-tolerance parts.
· Ability to troubleshoot machining issues such as chatter, tool wear, poor surface finish, dimensional movement, and setup instability.
· Comfortable proving out new jobs at the machine.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Good communication skills and ability to work with machinists, inspectors, and management.
· Ability to work independently and manage programming priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Haas, Okuma, and Fanuc CNC controls.
· Experience machining aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, and other engineered materials.
· Experience in aerospace, medical device, semiconductor, robotics, or precision manufacturing environments.
· Familiarity with inspection methods, CMM reports, and first article requirements.
· Experience creating standardized setup sheets and tool libraries.
· Experience with ERP or shop management systems such as ProShop, or similar.
· Ability to assist with process improvement and standardization.

Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around CNC machines as needed.

· Ability to use inspection tools and shop measuring equipment.
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience, programming ability, Multi-axis capability, and overall machining knowledge.

They can program efficiently in Mastercam, communicate clearly with machinists, and help E2E Mfg produce accurate, high-quality parts with repeatable processes.
