Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Auto Estimatics Claims Appraiser and become a vital part of the claims management process! In this energetic role, you will evaluate auto damage claims with precision, leveraging your mechanical knowledge and auto estimating skills to determine repair costs accurately. Your expertise will help streamline the claims process, ensure fair assessments, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. Duties

Review auto damage reports and photographs to assess the extent of repairs needed
Utilize auto estimating software (CCC ONE) to develop accurate repair estimates for damaged vehicles
Apply negotiation skills to settle claims efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction
Conduct thorough analysis of vehicle damage, considering mechanical, structural, and cosmetic factors
Ensure all estimates comply with underwriting guidelines and company policies
Document detailed reports of each claim, including repair recommendations and cost breakdowns

Experience

Proven experience in auto estimating, auto body repair, or automotive service management
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in auto restoration and repairs
Familiarity with auto estimating tools and software applications
Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate fair claim resolutions
Knowledge of insurance underwriting processes related to automotive claims
Ability to analyze complex damage scenarios and determine appropriate repairs
Prior experience working with service writing or automotive service departments is a plus
