Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pulmonologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will specialize in diagnosing and treating respiratory system disorders, including asthma, COPD, lung infections, and other pulmonary conditions. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments, innovative treatment plans, and collaborative care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your clinical skills and passion for patient care will make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review and physical examinations focused on respiratory health.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as medical imaging (e.g., CT scans, X-rays) and pulmonary function tests to identify respiratory issues accurately.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with complex pulmonary conditions, integrating medication management, lifestyle modifications, and therapeutic interventions.
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across specialties such as cardiology, oncology, critical care, anesthesiology, and radiology to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Manage airway procedures and assist in ventilator management for critically ill patients in inpatient settings.
Participate in clinical research initiatives and stay current with emerging treatments and technologies in pulmonology.
Educate patients on respiratory health maintenance, smoking cessation programs, and disease prevention strategies to promote long-term wellness.

Experience

Post-residency experience as a Pulmonologist or in a related specialty such as critical care or sleep medicine.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or EMR systems to document patient encounters efficiently.
Hands-on experience with diagnostic radiology interpretation related to pulmonary imaging studies.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Inpatient experience managing acute respiratory conditions within hospital or ICU settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
Prior involvement in clinical research or trials related to respiratory medicine is a plus.
