Full Job Description

Lead the Future of Honda Powersports

Hinderer Motor Company is seeking an experienced, results-driven Honda Powersports General Manager to lead all aspects of our Powersports dealership. This leadership role is responsible for driving profitability, developing high-performing teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring operational excellence across Sales, Finance, Parts, Service, and Accessories.

Responsibilities

Lead all dealership operations, including Sales, F&I, Parts, Service, Accessories, and Administration.
Drive dealership profitability through effective P&L management and strategic planning.
Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop department managers and staff.
Establish performance expectations, monitor KPIs, and drive accountability.
Grow new and pre-owned unit sales while maximizing fixed operations performance.
Ensure compliance with Honda OEM standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.
Monitor inventory, expense control, and operational efficiency.
Deliver an outstanding customer experience and resolve escalated customer concerns.
Build strong relationships with Honda representatives, vendors, and the local community.
Foster a culture built on integrity, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive dealership leadership experience.
Proven success managing dealership operations with full P&L responsibility.
Experience leading Sales, Finance, Parts, and Service departments.
Strong financial, operational, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred

Honda Powersports experience.
Multi-line powersports, automotive, marine, or RV dealership leadership.
OEM leadership training and 20 Group participation.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
