Human Resources Coordinator

The Hinderer Motor Company – Heath, Ohio

Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator is an entry-level Human Resources professional responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of HR operations across The Hinderer Motor Company. This role serves as the first point of contact for employees and applicants while assisting with onboarding, recruiting, employee records, HR compliance, payroll support, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals beginning a career in Human Resources who are eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact within a fast-paced automotive environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation.

Prepare employment paperwork and onboarding documents.

Assist with recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.

Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.

Support benefits enrollment and employee questions.

Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping inquiries.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies.

Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Coordinate employee recognition and engagement initiatives.

Assist with training assignments and completion tracking.

Support HR projects and continuous process improvements.

Partner with department managers to ensure a positive employee experience.

Perform other HR administrative duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Frequently sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.

Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Use computers and office equipment for extended periods.

Travel between dealership locations as needed.

Qualifications

Required
