Overview

Join our vibrant wellness and spa team as a Wellness & Spa Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where your compassionate care and clinical expertise will elevate our clients' relaxation and health journeys. In this dynamic role, you will provide personalized nursing services within a luxurious spa environment, ensuring each guest receives safe, effective, and holistic care. Your energy, attention to detail, and dedication to well-being will help create an exceptional experience that promotes relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall wellness. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to blend clinical skills with the art of wellness in a supportive, client-focused setting.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and health history documentation, to tailor treatments to individual needs.
Administer IV infusions, injections, and other medical treatments following strict safety protocols and clinical guidelines.
Collaborate with licensed practitioners to develop treatment plans involving dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, or other aesthetic procedures.
Educate clients on post-treatment care, medication administration, and health coaching to promote ongoing wellness.
Manage emergency situations with expertise in airway management, acute pain management, first aid, and basic life support (BLS).
Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies.

Experience

Valid LPN license with current state licensure required; experience working in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth or Cerner, for accurate documentation.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to geriatrics, dementia care, pain management, infectious disease care, and long-term care regulations.
Critical care experience including ICU or emergency medicine is highly desirable; experience in hospital medicine or trauma centers is a plus.
Strong communication skills for caregiver interaction and client education in a compassionate manner.
Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation processes is advantageous.
