Full Job Description

Lyman Products is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for the Sales Coordinator position at our offices in Middletown, CT. This is an entry-level position with many opportunities to grow within the company.

Summary/Objective

Assist Sales & Marketing Department to facilitate the overall goals of Lyman Products.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

Maintain daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly sales reports
Coordination of all distributors shows and other trade shows
Develop into Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Amazon’s Vendor Central
Complete all distributors return material authorizations (RMAs)
Aid shipping department for reducing chargebacks and shortages/overages claims
Coordination of customer co-op program
Market analysis: sales and price point data collection and reporting
Responsible for completion for new item set up forms for Amazon and other customers as necessary
Competitive research, data collection and reporting
Assist in proofing of annual price list
Administrative assistance with Lyman distributors
Learn Canadian and Foreign customer shipment documentation
Active communication with the Director of Sales & other team members

Qualifications

· The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

· Effective communication skills via phone, email, or in-person with all contacts, both domestically and internationally

· Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills in English

· The ability to deal with an array of stakeholders, such as end customers, dealers, directors and executives.

· Detail oriented and strong ability to multi-task

· Experience working with Excel, Power Point and standard Office programs

· The ability to work with individuals with different backgrounds and focuses

· Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Sales experience in shooting sports industry

· Advanced knowledge in Excel which includes pivot tables and V lookups and formulas

Working conditions

The job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment; such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Days and hours of work week are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m. Friday 8:00am-12:00pm.
